Nicki Minaj is getting into the mobile game business.
Following in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian and Britney Spears, the hip-hop mogul has partnered with Glu Mobile Inc. on her own gaming app called “Nicki Minaj: The Empire.”
The first trailer for the game has hit the net and features an animated Nicki in a virtual world. Just like their idol, users can transform into a music superstar by creating their own songs, putting on performances, hosting parties, and customizing their cribs and wardrobes.
“Let's make this a show to remember,” says Nicki in the clip. “A song is like a page ripped from your diary. Get out there and show the world what you're made of.”
Absolutely!!!! U guys r gonna spazz out when u see what I put in this game. https://t.co/ddeQqQxUh9

If this works for the “Anaconda” rapper the way it has for Kardashian, it will be a lucrative move. “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” became one of the highest-grossing apps in Apple's U.S. app store last summer and went on to generate over $50 million.
Glu Mobile is the developer behind other popular celebrity apps including “Britney Spears: American Dream,” “Kendall & Kylie,” and “Gordon Ramsay DASH.”
