Suzanne Vega Shares Sentimental Note She Received From Prince

It doesn't get much better than receiving praise from Prince.

On Monday, singer Suzanne Vega shared an old letter that Prince, who died last week at the age of 57, wrote to her back in the day. The "Tom's Diner" singer posted the note on Facebook, with the simple status, "I found my letter from Prince." (NBD.)

In the note, Prince expressed his love for Vega's track "Luka.

"Dearest Suzanne," he wrote. "'Luka' is the most compelling piece of music I've heard in a long time. There are no words 2 tell u all the things I feel when I hear it. I thank God 4 u."

The "Purple Rain" singer then signed his name with a cross and a doodle of a flower. It's so perfectly Prince, and it's definitely something she'll cherish forever.
