Rachel Roy Denies Being 'Becky' From Beyoncé's 'LEMONADE'

Rachel Roy says she is not “Becky with the good hair” after all.

The fashion designer, who made a reference to being the woman Beyoncé sang about on “Sorry” off LEMONADE, now says her much-discussed Instagram post has been misunderstood.

“I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest,” Damon Dash's ex-wife said in a statement to PEOPLE. “My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”
