Video: Kodak Black – 'Can I'

In the midst of ongoing legal troubles, Kodak Black unleashes his latest music video for the reflective track “Can I” off Lil B.I.G. Pac.

Directed by Bones Vision, the black-and-white visual shows Kodak in cuffs, rhyming on top of a police car.

“Will I live long enough to raise my son?” asks Black. “I made something out of nothing / Nothing's where I'm from / Can your boy do something productive for once?”

Flashing through footage of a young Kodak in better days, Black gets introspective. “Money don't change you,” he raps. “But it sho' drive you crazy.”

The video arrives just a week after Kodak was sentenced to 120 days in jail after pleading no contest on drug charges. He's also been charged with criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina and could face up to 30 years in that case.

Last month, Black struck a deal in a robbery, false imprisonment, and possession of a firearm by a delinquent case. When he was about to be released, officials uncovered the two other active warrants to his name and he was ordered to remain in jail.
