This morning, Niall Horan decided to announce his solo career and release his debut single all at the same time without zero warning, causing Directioners to lose their damn minds.

The new single is titled "This Town," and Niall released a heart-melting stripped-down performance of the track, because he knows what the people want.
"I'm excited to announce I have signed a record deal with Capitol Records USA and released my first solo song," Niall said in a statement.
