The Game, Snoop Dogg, and Problem continue their quest for peace.
After meeting with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Police Chief Charlie Beck twice within the last month, the rappers and city officials teamed up for a gang summit over the weekend.
The event was held on Sunday (Jul. 17) at a South L.A. community center where a few hundred gang members peacefully gathered to hear speakers discuss the importance of unity.
“You know, it's like a bus going through the city, a bus of love and a bus of positivity,” Game told The Associated Press. “We want to keep the doors open. We want everybody get on the bus.”
Game and others spoke at the event, calling for change and peace. According to the Documentary spitter, his newfound understanding of this issue was inspired by his foster brother's recent death in Los Angeles.
