Watch Malia Obama Dance to Mac Miller at Lollapalooza

It was a historic week at the Democratic National Convention, but Malia Obama skipped the event altogether in favor of Lollapalooza.

Fans captured footage of President Obama's oldest daughter attending the four-day festival at Chicago's Grant Park. On Friday, she and her friends were spotted on the side of the stage dancing during Mac Miller's set (to his hit “Donald Trump,” no less).

But that wasn't all. Concertgoers also caught the 18-year-old having a good time during Cashmere Cat's set on Thursday. And of course, the Secret Service wasn't far away.

The DNC made history this week when Hillary Clinton became the first woman nominated to be President of the United States by one of the country's major political parties. Both Michelle and Barack Obama spoke during the week-long event.

While mom and dad were handling political business, Malia was enjoying only her latest Lolla experience. Back in 2014, the recent high school grad also enjoyed Chance the Rapper's set at the annual festival. But her love for hip-hop has been documented in the past. Last year, the future Harvard student showed her love for the culture by sporting a Pro Era shirt in a photo that surfaced on the web.

Speaking of Chance, the Chicago MC was a surprise guest during Future's set on Friday. Lolla is scheduled to run through Sunday with performances from Tory Lanez, Vic Mensa, and Vince Staples.
