They say you should never meet your heroes.
But these children did exactly that, and their soccer idols turned out to be just as awesome as they'd imagined:

Some of the youngsters start crying, others shake in disbelief ― while this kid just stares in absolute wonder on finding himself inches away from England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney:
