One of the best Jonah Ryan lines from the most recent season of “Veep” came while he, Richard and Cliff went door-to-door to verify voter signatures in Nevada. “Can Paul McCartney teach Kid Rock how to be a good songwriter? I mean, that's a bad example ― Kid Rock rules,” he said, up-jumping the boogie.
But Timothy Simons, who plays Jonah, tested several alternate lines while filming the episode, in which Selina Meyer strives to win the Silver State's recount to secure the presidency.
