Nipsey Hussle wants to go “Down as a Great.” The Crenshaw rapper teams up with Kirko Bangz for a cut about legacy.
Over production by Mike & Keys, Jake One, and Tariqbeats, Neighborhood Nip rhymes about leadership.
“Legendary moves,” he raps. “Leader of my crew / Heavy is the head that wears the crown / That shit true.”
Meanwhile, Kirko provides the inspirational hook: “I'm trying to go down, down as a legend / Every night I ask God for the blessing.”
“Down as a Great” follows a few releases last month, including “Ocean Views,” “The Field,” and “I Do This.” Over the weekend, Nip also teamed up with YG to perform their “FDT” collaboration at Powerhouse.
