How To Win The Met Gala, According To Keith Urban And Nicole Kidman

Words used by Nicole Kidman to describe the Met Gala: "wild," "dumb" and "good manners." The actress told The Huffington Post that when the she arrived at the fashion soiree this year, she was not prepared for the theatrics.

"I went there years ago and [it] was not that," Kidman said. "It's now the party of the year by far. I love that you can show up in all sorts of weird and wonderful things, and yet there's still a decorum to it which is very proper ...  I mean, there's trumpets playing for you to go to dinner."

Kidman and Urban were seated at the main table for the event with co-chairs Taylor Swift and Idris Elba, along with the notoriously icy chairwoman, Anna Wintour. While some might find it intimidating to sit near Vogue's editor-in-chief, Urban told HuffPost that to him, "she's just 'Anna.'"

"I love her because I'm not in the fashion world," the country singer explained. "I don't need anything from Anna. It's just hanging out, that's all it is. I love being able to be in that position. I'm not out here networking, I'm just here enjoying myself, having conversations about life and things."

Kidman, who describes Wintour as "one of the great women in the industry today," recalled a particular moment that stood out from the evening.

"I have to say, when The Weeknd played, we were all dancing." They earned it
