Taylor Swift, whose list of best friends seems almost as long as the list of artists who should have won the Grammy for Album of the Year, celebrated her childhood friend's wedding on Saturday. We're assuming the happy couple didn't choose "Famous" as their first dance song.
Swift served as maid of honor to Britany Maack, who she grew up with in Pennsylvania before going on to conquer Nashville.
"I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!" she captioned a sun-kissed photo of the wedding party on Instagram.
Um, maybe we're reading the photo incorrectly, but did Taylor catch the bouquet? Heeeeeeeeeey, Calvin Harris.
Surprisingly, no one in Taylor's squad has asked her to be a maid of honor, making Maack's wedding a first for Swift.
"I've never been a maid of honor before. This is my first time, and it's really, really important to me because this is my best friend, who I've known since I was born. And she's marrying someone I've known since I was 4," Swift told People in May.
The Grammy winner posted a picture of the moment she assumed the special role last year, featuring a heartfelt note from Maack and a childhood photo of the two dressed in adorable animal costumes.
