Shonda Rhimes, the queen of primetime television, recently opened up about her latest endeavor: losing weight.
Rhimes, who is the mastermind behind ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and "How To Get Away With Murder," spoke candidly about her incredible 117-pound weight loss in an interview with Extra.
Rhimes said her children played a big part in her decision to improve her health. "I just decided I was going get it together and get healthy," she said, "I have some little kids and I want to be around for them."
She credited her slimmer figure to smaller portions and exercising, but Rhimes also mentioned that getting fit was hard work."Once I decided it wasn't going to be fun, like I lowered my expectations, and it got kind of easier," she said.
Congrats, lady!
