Taylor Swift’s “1989 World Tour” pulled into St. Louis this week. During the second of two sold-out shows at Scottrade Center, the pop superstar brought out St. Louis native Nelly for the third time.
He busted out his 2002 hit “Hot In Herre” for the hometown crowd, while joined by Swift and her tourmates Haim, who served as his back-up dancers and singers. They also dueted on Nelly’s new DJ Mustard-produced single “The Fix.”
“Old friends. @derrtymo has come out to surprise the crowd on my last 3 tours. I absolutely adore him,” said Taylor, while Nelly added, “She always puts on the best shows and Tonight show was CRAY…!!! @taylorswift thanks for rocking #THEFIX.”
This isn’t the first time Nelly has appeared on stage with Taylor. They dueted on “Hey Porsche” during 2013’s “The Red Tour,” and “Just a Dream” at 2011’s “Speak Now World Tour.”
