How This Nonprofit Is Breaking The Cycle Of Homelessness, Addiction And Incarceration







The Doe Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people who have been subjected to homelessness, addiction and incarceration rebuild their lives. It offers programs, such as job training, that encourage self-sufficiency. In the video above, the organization's vice president, Harriet McDonald, explains its mission to help people "below the first rung of the economic ladder," and some participants explain what the Doe Fund has meant to them.
