Scarlet Witch has so much power, it'd make Voldemort pee his pants. But with great power comes great responsibility, and actress Elizabeth Olsen takes that responsibility very seriously.
When The Huffington Post asked the "Captain America: Civil War" star if she'd be into doing a Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff solo movie, the actress said she'd entertain the idea on one condition.
"It's not something I'm opposed to, but it's also something that has to make a lot of sense. I wouldn't just do it just to do it. It'd have to make sense for how it advances in the world. But I'd be open to talking about it. I'd never say no to just an idea," said Olsen.
A Scarlet Witch movie would be a welcome addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has been almost completely male-driven up to this point (even down to the toys). Perhaps giving hope to a solo movie, at the end of "Civil War," Scarlet Witch's future is fairly up in the air. Olsen said, "The options for Wanda afterward are pretty limitless," but we may have a slight hint about what's ahead.
In "Avengers: Age of Ultron," Tony Stark has a vision showing his fellow Avengers dead. This vision is given to him while Scarlet Witch is messing with his head. We asked "Avengers: Infinity War" directors the Russo brothers if the vision could still come into play again, and they confirmed that everything was still on the table.
Is Stark's vision a glimpse at the future? Will Scarlet Witch possibly be asked to recreate it? Would Voldemort actually be scared enough to pee his pants?
Only time will tell. But our advice to Voldemort: Time to invest in some Huggies, bro.
"Captain America: Civil War" is in theaters now.
