When Julia Roberts agreed to appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday, she probably had no idea she knew what she was getting herself into.
During a segment called "Pitch, Please," Ellen got Roberts to sell sex toys, Home Shopping Network-style, as an ode to her character in "Mother's Day" (a HSN host). The only catch? Roberts had no idea what she was selling -- she was standing behind the product display -- making it all the more hilarious. With a little help from Ellen, we'd say the actress' pitch was a success.
"It is versatile. It is hypoallergenic. It comes in a variety of sizes," she said as the audience laughed. "And Mother's Day is around the corner."
When Ellen asked, "When you wear it, what does it make you feel like?" Roberts' responded perfectly, saying, "Really empowered and just ready for any kind of challenge."
Nailed it.
