Bryce Harper Wore A Very Good Hat

The national pastime has a problem: People find watching it to be a boring way to pass the time.

That makes reigning National League MVP Bryce Harper sad, because reigning National League MVP Bryce Harper enjoys the sport of baseball. But the funny thing is, he agrees with the people. Baseball has become too boring in his mind, too concerned with unwritten rules that entertain spectators and too fearful of players celebrating their achievements on the field with a simple flip of a bat.

So it went on Monday night, after his Washington Nationals team won their first contest of the 2016 season against the Atlanta Braves, 4-3, that Bryce Harper donned a hat. In four words, the hat's point was clear and concise. Stealing from the lyrical stylings of the Republican presidential frontrunner, it said everything it needed to, and not a syllable more. "Make Baseball Fun Again," it pleaded softly.
