Kermit The Frog Covering Shaggy's 2000s Classic 'It Wasn't Me' Is Comedy Gold

There are certain times in American history when it becomes clear that we've reached an important cultural turning point -- the arrival at Plymouth Rock, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Britney Spears "Gimme More" performance at the 2007 VMAs, and now, Kermit the Frog singing the cheating anthem of the 21st century, Shaggy's "It Wasn't Me."

As part of Vulture's remix video series, video artist Adam Schleichkorn aka Mylo the Cat has created the best thing you'll see today. Kermit the Frog and his one time lover (they officially broke up last year) Miss Piggy had a tumultuous romance that lasted over four decades, so it only makes sense that she might have walked in on him mid-coitus ... on the counter, the sofa and in the shower.

Watch the full video above and check out some of our favorite remixes below.

Bonjour, girl!
