James Corden and Chris Martin's "Carpool Karaoke" teaser promised the adventure of a lifetime, and the pair delivered on Tuesday night.
Trying to get to the Super Bowl for the halftime show, Martin hitches a ride with a reluctant Corden. There, the two sing along to a bunch of Coldplay hits, including "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Yellow" and "Paradise." At one point, the Coldplay frontman even broke out a Mick Jagger impression, and there was an unexpected stop at a hotel with a surprise twist the next day.
Despite the fact that David Bowie once rejected his band's request for a collaboration, Martin and Corden also covered a song from the late Ziggy Stardust. So, yeah, these two are definitely heroes.
"The Late Late Show with James Corden" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on CBS.
