Watch Stephen Colbert Interview Eminem on Michigan Public Access

In addition to sitting down with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Eminem did an interview with “The Late Show’s” new host Stephen Colbert for “Only in Monroe,” a local program on MPACT, a public-access television station in Monroe, Mich.

During the broadcast, he interviewed Michigan resident Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem. The interview was first shown on the station at midnight and eventually made the rounds on YouTube.

Em spoke about his Detroit roots, sang along to Bobby Seger’s “Against the Wind” and “Night Moves,” and was asked if he considers himself a political MC or booty rapper.

“In the middle, right in the crack,” said Em.

The “Phenomenal” rapper also told other MCs to stop using profanities in their lyrics (“Watch your fuckin’ mouths”) and promoted the boxing film Southpaw (Em produced the soundtrack).

Plus, Stephen offered Marshall some advice (don’t drink the sewage) and asked him to remove his hoodie (“You’ve got such a cute face”).
