After initially premiering the video for “NWA” as part of his visual compilation “Wildheart Chapter 1: Find What You Love and Let It Kill You,” Miguel has finally released the video on its own.
In the West Coast clip, a camera follows the R&B crooner around his L.A. neighborhood, as he sings the lyrics to the funky track. Dressed in his rock star attire, he meets up with Kurupt, who drives around the neighborhood with his hat down low and sunglasses on—he looks every part the confident Southern California OG that his verse would suggest.
The video returns to Miguel for the last shot, in which he strides purposefully out of a house and jumps in the car with Kurupt.
Miguel is currently on his “Wildheart” tour, which wraps Sept. 4 at L.A.’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
