Video: Danny Brown – 'Pneumonia'

Danny Brown has more than “Pneumonia” to worry about in the politically-charged video off his album Atrocity Exhibition.

The blood and scream-filled visual shows Brown dangling from chains in a parking lot and being smashed onto the floor while vintage images of Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush flash on old TV screens.

Danny appears to be debating with the politicians in some of the clips, which are mashed up with “Pneumonia” as their soundtrack.

Simon Cahn, the video's director, said the symbolic visual was meant to match the track's intensity.

“'Pneumonia' feels like a surreal nosebleed torture of a track (in all the best ways),” he said. “I tried to get the same emotions in the video. Big up to Danny for hanging upside down in the air all night.”

Currently, Danny is on “The Exhibition Tour.” The worldwide trek travels across North America and then overseas through December.
