It's been a whirlwind year for Michael Phelps.
The 23-time Olympic gold medalist shared a photo Sunday of him tying the knot with Nicole Johnson in a formal ceremony that was reportedly held in Mexico the day before.
The stunning bride is seen walking hand in hand with the legendary swimmer in a tropical outdoor ceremony.
The 2010 Miss California winner wore a floor-length ivory-and-white lace gown featuring a thigh-high slit in the front. Her handsome groom wore a matching ivory suit with a baby blue tie.
“Truly the happiest day of life,” the dazzling bride ― who has since changed her Instagram name to “Mrs. Nicole Phelps” ― captioned one of the snaps.
According to Us Weekly, the photos were taken during a second wedding ceremony at a beachside resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The couple married back in June, one month after the birth of their now 5-month-old son, Boomer. Incredibly, they managed to keep the news a secret throughout the summer games.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
