Curren$y speeds into October with his latest mixtape, Andretti 9/30.
The 8-track effort features Marcelo, Ty, Fiend, and Corner Boy P. With his trademark laid-back flavor, the prolific Spitta delivers what he feels is quite a versatile project.
“Got me feeling like 8Ball, MJG and Too Short was all on one tape, Lord,” he sings on the opening track, “All On One Tape.” “Got me feeling like Jay Z, AZ, Nas, Rick Ross, Scarface was all on one tape, Lord / Got me feeling like Tha Dogg Pound, Nipsey Hussle, DJ Quik, and MC Eiht was all on one tape, Lord / Got me feeling like OutKast, Cam'ron, and Lil Wayne, was all on one tape, Lord.”
It's been a year filled with new music from Curren$y, who, among other releases, dropped Stoned on Ocean in June, Bourbon Street Secrets in April, and The Owners Manual in January.
