Donald Trump's crime-fighting super cop from Chicago does exist after all! Well, at least in Stephen Colbert's mind.
“The Late Show” host conducted a hilarious spoof interview Friday with a man he said was the senior officer who last month told Trump he could stop the city's crime in just one week.
Only, it wasn't the real cop. Principally, because the Chicago Police Department says no one in its senior command has ever met with Trump or a member of his campaign. But also because Colbert's interviewee turned out to be a male stripper who was only dressed as an officer.
“I told him there are some naughty people out there who need to be in cuffs,” the officer, who called himself Rod Johnson, told Colbert of his chat with the GOP presidential candidate ― before launching into a rather racy routine.
Check it out in the clip above.
Editor's note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims - 1.6 billion members of an entire religion - from entering the U.S.
