Two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry hit nothing but net in announcing his choice for president on Tuesday. Asked “Hillary or Trump?” at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, Curry answered, “Hillary.”
Curry was interviewed on many topics by TechCrunch's Jordan Crook, who launched a “lightning round” segment (see it above at the 14:25 mark). She would mention two names, such as “Larry Bird or Magic Johnson?” and asked Curry to choose one. When she queried, “Hillary or Trump?” Curry responded with an “ooooh” and said, “Hillary.”
“'Atta boy,” Crook responded.
Other sports figures who have voiced support for Clinton include Abby Wambach, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Billie Jean King, Jason Collins, Jim Brown and Magic Johnson, the New York Daily News previously noted.
Interestingly, Curry, who has also voiced his support for Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protest, declined to give his preference between iOS and Android. But at least we know his choice for leader of the free world.
