Future is “done” with his highly-anticipated mixtape Beast Mode '16, but that doesn't mean fans are getting a release date.
In a new interview with VladTV, Zaytoven revealed that Hendrix is ready to keep working on the project even though he'd be happy to release it now.
“He was saying, 'I want to keep recording songs, but if it came to it, I needed to drop right now, we done. I'm confident in what we got right now to drop another Zaytoven and Future project.'” he explained. “We're really done. But we keep working though.”
The prolific producer went on to say that their relationship is based on quick turnarounds and batches of music.
“Future's the guy, where if I send him some beats while he on the road and there's a pack of beats that he really like, if there's a new vibe or new wave, he's like, 'Man, keep feeding me more. Feed me more of this every day.'”
Beast Mode '16 is the sequel to the original Beast Mode, which dropped in January of last year.
Last month, Zay also revealed that he's been in the lab with Drake and Gucci Mane for their upcoming joint project The 6ers.
