French Montana Talks Iggy Azalea Relationship, Max B Release

French Montana is celebrating life right now, with good news regarding his longtime friend Max B and perhaps some good news on the romantic front as well.

Kicking off his brief interview with Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex, French shared his happiness over the news that Max B's sentence has been reduced from 75 years to as little as two years.

“This is the greatest news you could tell somebody that they're coming home,” French explained. “He was thinking he was gonna die in there…Two years from 75 years? Weight gets off your shoulders. That's crazy. It's a great feeling.”

According to Montana, the Wave God will be released in two years if all goes well, but his release date could also extend to six years depending on behavior.

On the outside, French has been fielding romance rumors with Iggy Azalea. They vacationed together and he even gave the “Fancy” rapper several diamond rings. Still, neither seems to be confirming a relationship at this point.

“I'm having fun, enjoying life,” he revealed, adding that it's a relatively new bond that they're building. “I always knew her, but she was always in a relationship. We never kept in contact.”

Meanwhile, French is gearing up to drop his sophomore album MC4 on Oct. 14. Yesterday, he unleashed a video for “Brick Road.”
