During one of Stephen Colbert's pre-"Late Show" audience Q&As, the talk show host was asked how he knew his wife, Evelyn McGee-Colbert, was the one.
(Awwww, right?)
"Oh, man! I will -- how long do we have?" said Colbert.
He then launched into his story, which involves contemplating marriage to another person, spotting a beautiful woman across the room, and a series of random events that all led to the pair getting married on Oct. 9, 1993.
We hope you don't need your heart any time soon. It's about to melt.
"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
