Though Beyoncé had to jet to the U.K. shortly after her opening performance at the BET Awards, she represented with a rousing appearance from her signed duo Chloe x Halle.
The sisterly duo, who hit choreographed dance moves while multitasking with instrumental duties, were one of the breakout acts from the night, nailing live harmonies for their song “Drop” off their Sugar Symphony EP, which released in late April.
Previously, Chloe x Halle appeared alongside Bey in her LEMONADE film. The Parkwood/Columbia signees are just 16 and 17 years old, and inked the deal with the superstar for a reported $1 million when their “Pretty Hurts” YouTube cover went viral.
