Surreal moments: they happen to all of us! Most of them, however, do not involve kissing famous and beautiful actor Emma Watson, who captured every millennial boy's heart as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" films.
But for Rupert Grint, that is, in fact, the case.
While at an event at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grint opened up about the particular strangeness of kissing his co-star.
"I've known Emma since she was literally 9 years old and we had this very brother-sister relationship," Grint said. "And it just felt very surreal. I have a memory of her face getting closer and closer. Like, 'Oh my God.' I can't really remember anything apart from that."
Ah, onscreen romance. If only actors and characters weren't, like, different things, you know? Jim and Pam and Josh and Donna and Joey and Pacey would just be out there living happily somewhere, and the rest of us could restore our faith in love.
Alas...
Maybe Grint envisioned his character with a witch he'd encounter later in life. Perhaps one who attended the famous North American wizarding school, which J.K. Rowling revealed Friday is called Ilvermorny.
Luh you, Rupert.
