Wyclef Jean is back with a new politically-charged track.
And the former Fugees singer doesn't hold back in trolling Donald Trump in its official video, which Funny Or Die posted online Friday.
In the clip for “If I Was President 2016,” the rapper imagines what life in the White House will be like for the winner of the presidential election.
According to Wyclef Jean, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton would spend most of her time breakdancing on the Oval Office's desk.
Had Sen.Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) somehow gained power, he'd mostly be napping. And GOP nominee Donald Trump? Well, he'd just be angry. So very angry.
“Calm down Trump, calm down,” his aides sing to him in the clip. But he gets even more frustrated, and rips off his wig in anger.
The song is an updated version of Wyclef Jean's 2008 track “If I Was President,” in which he rallied against spending billions of dollars on wars.
In this revised edition, which is slated to feature on his “J'ouvert” EP due out late November, he again sings out about conflicts - and also makes reference to police brutality and gun violence.
Check it out in the clip above.
Editor's note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims - 1.6 billion members of an entire religion - from entering the U.S.
