The Game and JoJo Make Top 10 Debuts

The Game and JoJo are back on the Billboard 200's coveted top 10, thanks to some Mad Love. from their fans.


The Compton rapper finds himself at No. 4 with 1992. The era-specific album sold 32,000 units (25,000 traditional). It's Game's ninth overall top 10, following an impressive string of LPs, including The Documentary 2.5 (No. 6 in 2015), The Documentary 2 (No. 2; 2015), Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf (No. 7; 2014), Jesus Piece (No. 6; 2012), The R.E.D. Album (No. 1; 2011), LAX (No. 2; 2008), Doctor's Advocate (No. 1; 2006) and The Documentary (No. 1; 2005),” as per Billboard.


Meanwhile, JoJo returns to the top 10 with her first album in a decade, Mad Love. The project, which features Wiz Khalifa, Remy Ma, and Alessia Cara, arrives at No. 6 with 25,000 units (19,000 traditional) sold. Before this, The High Road debuted at No. 3 in 2006 and her self-titled debut peaked at No. 4 in 2004.


Elsewhere, birthday boy Drake climbs back to No. 2 with Views, selling 40,000 units. This follows the announcement of his December project More Life and the release of a whopping four new songs: “Two Birds, One Stone,” “Sneakin',” the 21 Savage-assisted “Fake Love,” and “Wanna Know (Remix)” with Dave.
