Stephen Baldwin knows comedy. He played Barney Rubble in “The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas” after all. He also baptized Spencer Pratt on the reality show “I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here,” which is far funnier than any sketch “Saturday Night Live” could ever dream up.
So when the youngest Baldwin brother gave multiple interviews at the final presidential debate on Wednesday night about why his brother Alec Baldwin's celebrated Donald Trump “SNL” impression isn't funny, we listened attentively to the man who once thought it was a good idea to get a “Hannah Montana” tattoo.
“Well, he's got the voice down very wellI. I think it's getting a little too nasty right now,” he told CBS news after the debate. “I don't think it's very funny. I don't think there's anything funny about this election. I think it's very serious.”
Although he has a point about this election cycle, Stephen, who starred on not one, but two installments of “The Celebrity Apprentice,” has been a longtime Trump supporter as opposed to his famously liberal older brother. Look no further than Stephen's social media presence ― he refers to Trump as “Mr. President” and regularly offers him blessings ― to understand his fervor and see something undeniably comedic.
