Sevyn Streeter got up close and personal with her Street Team at Rap-Up LIVE on Tuesday evening (Oct. 18).
In anticipation of her debut album Girl Disrupted in early 2017, the R&B songstress treated fans to an intimate performance at Rap-Up HQ in Los Angeles. It marked the second installment of Rap-Up's in-studio series, which kicked off in April with JoJo.
Sevyn served up fan favorites and new material during her powerful 30-minute set, opening with “My Love for You.” From there, she basked under pink lights as she performed “D4L” and ignited the crowd with a soulful cover of Lauryn Hill's “Ex-Factor” classic.
“[Lauryn Hill] is an artist that I've always been obsessed with,” said Sevyn, before delivering her take on the Miseducation cut. “I used to take her CD and listen to it over and over and over again in my room.”
