Bompton stand up. YG has previewed a brand new song in an ad for his 4Hunnid clothing line. But in addition to showcasing his new threads, the commercial carries a deeper message. In between shooting dice and sipping a 40, the Compton rapper asks “when the police gon’ stop pressing” him. And the video also depicts a confrontation with police.
“THIS IS REGULAR,” writes YG.
He joined Nicki Minaj on stage at Real 92.3’s “Birthday Bash” last month and dropped a few new tracks late last year including the 50 Cent and Nipsey Hussle-assisted “I Want a Benz.”
While it’s unclear where this cut will land, the joint could very well be a preview of what’s to come on YG’s sophomore album Still Krazy, the follow-up to his 2014 debut My Krazy Life.
YG’s first 4Hunnid collection is available now and features Bompton hats, jackets, T-shirts, sweaters, and even lighters.
