Tom Bergeron announced this weekend that his mother, Catherine, has died.
Bergeron took to Instagram to share a touching note to his mother on Saturday.
"4 months ago my Mom lost the love of her life. Now we've gathered at her bedside. They never did like being apart," the TV host captioned a photo of the two of them.
The news comes just four months after the "Dancing with the Stars" host's father, Adrian Raymond, died at the age of 81.
Bergeron shared a second photo of himself with both of his parents over the weekend with an equally heartfelt caption.
"Four months apart. Together forever. #RIPMom," he wrote.
On Sunday, the comedian expressed his thanks to fans for their support, and announced that he'll be absent from "Good Morning America" on Tuesday. The morning show sent its condolences on Twitter as well.
He also shared a photo of himself at his mother's favorite beach, where he went "to say goodbye."
