Regular People Wrestle Sumo Champ, Maybe Regret It

We get the appeal of sumo wrestling, but maybe it's a sport best appreciated from the grandstand.

In this video from BuzzFeed, a few brave souls squared off against 600-pound sumo champ Yama, who is said to be Japan's heaviest person on record.

Yeah, it pretty much went like this:

But you have to appreciate their guts.

One competitor kept his goal simple against another sumo champ. "I'm just trying not to fart in the ring," he said.
