It might not be "9 to 5," but Dolly Parton is going back to work.
The country crooner announced on her website Monday that she's set to go on her first major tour in more than 25 years. Parton has performed here and there over the past few decades, but this tour marks the singer's biggest return to the stage, making stops in 60 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The Country Music Hall of Famer will perform hits from an immense catalogue, including songs from the double-disc album "Pure & Simple with Dolly's Biggest Hits" and others that haven't been heard in decades.
"We’re so excited to get out there and see the fans again,” Parton wrote on her website. "I’m really looking forward to singing songs the fans have not heard in a while, as well as the hits, while debuting a few new ones off 'Pure & Simple.'"
A track listing for "Pure & Simple," tour dates and locations will be announced soon. In the meantime, lets all hold hands and sway softly to a performance of "Jolene":
