BJ the Chicago Kid is turnin’ it up. While promoting his new album In My Mind, the Chi-town crooner paid a visit to “Conan” on Thursday (March 3) to deliver a moving medley.
During his late-night performance, BJ mashed up the album’s closer “Turnin’ Me Up” with the James Brown-inspired “Woman’s World.” Backed by a live band and background singers, donning a white outfit and a red jacket, he showed why he’s become one of this year’s most critically-acclaimed acts with stunning vocals.

Prior to the show, BJ took fans behind the scenes of his performance with a couple of Twitter videos. “This is what happens when the album’s out,” he said. “We work.”
